Explore the magnificent Rocca d'Anfo, the most imposing Napoleonic fortress in Italy, overlooking the majestic Lake Idro. This extraordinary military complex, dating back to the 15th century and expanded during the Napoleonic era, extends over an area of about 50 hectares on the western shore of Lake Idro (BS), on the border between Lombardy and Tyrol, between the Valle Sabbia and the Valli Giudicarie.

We will visit the oldest part of the Rocca, dating back to the time of the Most Serene Republic of Venice, and then explore the Gola barracks, a testament to the Napoleonic era, with its underground passages, kitchens, dormitories, and the panoramic observatory that offers a breathtaking view at 650 meters above sea level on Lake Idro.
During the journey, we will have the opportunity to delve into the history of Garibaldi and his Garibaldini and visit an interesting museum with artifacts from the two world wars.
